The Huffington Post Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief Arianna Huffington regrammed a photo Kendra posted recently from her experience at last week's cycling event CicLAvia (The Valley) that took place in the Los Angeles area. Arianna Huffington posted Kendra's photo on Instagram following her effort, and popular book, to inspire the movement of THRIVING in your life. With the hashtag #ThriveSpringBreak, Instagram users are able to share their own methods of thriving this spring.

Kendra captured photos again this year for Essence Magazine's yearly Black Women in Hollywood honoree luncheon event. It was the Eighth Annual luncheon. Go to essence.com for more photos and coverage of the event. Catch the event when it airs on Oprah's OWN Network Saturday, February 21 at 10pm ET. 

Honorees included the cast of Orange is the New Black, actress Regina King, actress, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Costume Designer Ruth E. Carter and film contest winner Iman N. Milner.
