This summer, Kendra Kabasele was Co-Host/Emcee of the 11th Annual Leimert Park Village Book Fair alongside Albert Lawrence. Along with facilitating the day's events and schedule, Kendra had the opportunity to interview this year's book fair Ambassador, her friend, Entertainment Veteran and Author Kim Coles!

Kendra captured photos again this year for Essence Magazine's yearly Black Women in Hollywood honoree luncheon event. It was the Eighth Annual luncheon. Go to essence.com for more photos and coverage of the event. Catch the event when it airs on Oprah's OWN Network Saturday, February 21 at 10pm ET. 

Honorees included the cast of Orange is the New Black, actress Regina King, actress, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Costume Designer Ruth E. Carter and film contest winner Iman N. Milner.
